Think I may have found a way to kill those berserker skeles, after i clear everything on the left side of the bridge , I keep way about 1 1/2 aggro bubble away from the skeles, and drop a dust trap(brought this instead of dodge). Then I wait for the dust trap to fully recharge and pop up kindle arrows before pulling 2 of the berserker skeles. Pop up Physical Resis and keep firing away, usualy 1 skele runs off while the other keeps hacking away at me. I then drop another dust trap (just before the blind wear off on the skele attacking me, but he died, so dropped the dust trap before the other skele got back to me) and killed of the other skele. Didn't get a chance to fighter the impalers (scared they may use distracting shot when I use troll to counter their poision) or the 2 bonders, since I net errored 7 out(didn't get a chance to pick up the 2 shards that 2 of the skeles dropped for me DX), and now Europe has favor (booooooooooooooooo)

so, ive done a bunch of runs, and i thought id share this little tidbit.
armored cave spiders go down SUPER fast & easy with just a slight strategy & equipment change... i use a 5/1 vamp halfmoon of defense on them... no kindle arrow (since they seem to have high armor vs ele)... basically, i run up and interrupt their apply poison, then i just lay into them with the shortbow. its faster refire rate means you dont need the savage for healing springs, so you can focus on just keeping his poison interrupted. generally i dont even need to use my troll unguent, as long as i can keep his apply poison down.

Seeing as theres like 4 Infuser skeles at that bridge, i've just come to the conclusion that it's nigh impossible to clear out completely. Also no flesh > me.
Anyway, after reading all these solo ranger threads lately (this one, DNKP one, etc) i've been trying to work on other solo builds. I've got a solo Tombs build almost perfected, for the first 2 rooms at least and i'm working on a solo glint build.

The unedited map came from the second page of the "Maps Gallery" on this site. I edit it to suit my needs.

The thing to be careful with when u switch over to a short bow(to fight the spiders), is watch your aggro. Since the sipider will be just within ur aggro bubble, another spider may drop by. Had this happen to me a few times, (once all 3 spider where right next to each other so i wasn't able to pull them apart....so had to posion 1 and run away, and just repeat the cycle till there was only 1 [which took a while at -1 degen]).
Not sure if this will make your run any faster, but did you think of using a super rune of wildress. My current setup is
Marksmanship- 9(8+1(minor rune))
Wilderess Survival- 16(12+3(super rune)+1(mask))
Expertise-9 (7 +2 (major rune))
Inspiration Magic-8
My health is about 396 and never had any problems with that yet. Just a quick thing about the spiders again, with kindle i usually hit them for about 30ish points of damahe (13ish pts with kindle, 15ish with my bow), while without it i was hitting for about 15 I think. (Plus i usually use my kindle arrows as a timer so I known when to expect to interrput thier next apply posion but that just me)

just tried this earlier today. a shortbow works wonders on the spiders as long as you can manage your aggro.
VIDEO OF THE RUN http://files.filefront.com/fowforest.../fileinfo.html
i got a semi-difficult spawn.

I'm going to try this soon, even if it looks very hard. I have some experience by farming ice imps/siege ice golems, but you will earn gold faster by doing this, right? Well, I'll better get that quest-reward bow, poison arrow and the two mesmer skills, then I'm ready to try it! (I will probably have to try 10 times before I can even think about managing to do the run)

the run is very easy imo... i was able to do it on my first try... and the -2 dmg in stance longbow is crap imo... i don't see any use for it... the only trouble you should have is against the spiders and all their dmg comes from their poison

I use the longbow vs the Spirit Woods, too. They're the trees on stereoids. With the longbow/physical resistance you bring their 40+ damage down to like 9...

Do you think i could adapt this to a r/e by simply replacing Mantra of Lightning and Physical Resistance with armor of earth?
